Population Control And Your Child

In January 2011, National Geographic published one segment in a series on the world's population by Robert Kunzig titled: Population 7 billion.

In the text, Kunzig places this:

"Ehrlich’s book, The Population Bomb, made him the most famous of modern Malthusians. In the 1970s, Ehrlich predicted, "hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death," and it was too late to do anything about it. "The cancer of population growth....must be cut out," Ehrlich wrote, "by compulsion if voluntary methods fail."

A great deal of the article is focused on world population growth and reduction efforts, i.e., "The Indian government tried once before to push vasectomies, in the 1970s, when anxiety about the population bomb was at its height. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay used state-of-emergency powers to force a dramatic increase in sterilizations. From 1976 to 1977 the number of operations tripled, to more than eight million. Over six million of those were vasectomies. Family planning workers were pressured to meet quotas; in a few states, sterilization became a condition for receiving new housing or other government benefits. In some cases the police simply rounded up poor people and hauled them to sterilization camps."

Worked into the article is the same worn out promotion of global warming. As one further progresses in reading, you find this:

"The World Bank has predicted that by 2030 more than a billion people in the developing world will belong to the "global middle class," up from just 400 million in 2005. That’s a good thing. But it will be a hard thing for the planet if those people are eating meat and driving gasoline-powered cars at the same rate as Americans now do. It’s too late to keep the new middle class of 2030 from being born; it’s not too late to change how they and the rest of us will produce and consume food and energy. "Eating less meat seems more reasonable to me than saying, ‘Have fewer children!’" Le Bras says.

Interesting enough and what I find alarming, is homework now being given here in Texas where I live, in one school (and possibly others), appears directly tied to the article cited above. In Katy, Texas, high school seniors were given an assignment "7 Billion Essay", which can be downloaded at

This is no coincidence for those of us who have thoroughly researched the underbelly of Agenda 21 and it's endless tentacles.

In her book, Environmental Overkill: Whatever Happened to Common Sense? by the late Dixy Lee Ray, former Governor of Washington State and former Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, Ray covers in exhaustive detail the outcome of the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio De  Janeiro. On page 77, Ms. Ray gives a shocking report of just how contemptible those behind forced population reduction are - this particular segment covers banning DDT:

"For example, in response to a reporter's questions about banning DDT, Dr. Charles Wurster, who was then chief scientist for the Environmental Defense Fund, stated that in his opinion there are too many people, and "this is as good a way to get rid of them as any." Another statement of Dr. Wurseter's was brought out in congressional testimony before the House Committee on Agriculture, 92nd Congress, first session, 1971: "It doesn't really make a lot of difference because the organophosphate (pesticide) acts locally and only kills farm workers, and most of them are Mexicans and Negros." There is no record of any media or public reaction to this shocking statement. [29]

"Dr. LaMont Cole, a respected environmentalist at Yale University, asserted that "To feed a starving child is to exacerbate the world overpopulation problem." And Dr. Van den Bosch of the University of California chided others about their concern for "all those little brown people in poor countries." [30]

"Malthusian predictions about overpopulation and starvation have been made since the beginning of the 19th century. America's most ardent Malthusian is Paul Ehrlich of Stanford University, who, with his wife, proposes the following program to prevent or ameliorate the population explosion:

"1. We must institute the Chinese Communist system of compulsory abortion and various forms of infanticide so that each couple will only have one child. We must hope that our government doesn't wait until it, too, decides that coercive measures can solve America's population problem...The price of personal freedom in making childbearing decisions may be the destruction of the world.

"2. As Barry Commoner recommended, we must go back to the spinning wheel, returning to a beatific state of endless drudge labor, six days a week, and exhaustion on Sunday. Most of the labor-saving devices and the appliances of everyday life consume fossil-fuel energy, which, of course, poisons the environment.

"3. Air travel by businessmen must cease, with the world's executives linked instead by closed-circuit TV.

"4.  All this nonsense of getting into the family car and driving off on vacation must cease, too."

I am very concerned about America's children being inculcated with the dangerous philosophy you read above, not just in high schools, but in lower grades as well. Then, they go on to "institutions of higher learning" and you see the insidious propaganda being feed to young adults.

How many of our next generation of graduates will have been indoctrinated into believing they must control the population of this earth? How much reproductive education is actually priming the next generation to accept population control by whatever means necessary - including force?
