Voting has always been something I did, but finding out what goes on to get ready for election day never really entered my mind. I took it for granted that it was available never considering the hard work of volunteers who are there all day starting at 6AM and lasting until after the polls close at 7PM. The only paid position is the election judge. The nuts and bolts of this are fascinating to me and I am glad that this time, I will be involved. This is another example of what can and should be learned about this freedom that we have. With all the accusations of fraud in our election process, this is an important step to take. We have to protect our voting rights by being watchful of the process to make sure it is not manipulated. When you go to the polls this time, thank those people who are donating their time so that your vote counts.

I'm not sure I could maintain a legal position as a volunteer as I would want desperately to tell people who to vote for. Perhaps I should stay away and go where I can legally tell people who to vote for :(l). Keep up the good work. God has a place and talent for us all.0 points
