Evil
Evil

I never gave the existence of evil much thought.  Evil seemed to be something you saw in a horror flick but I didn't know anyone who was evil.  There might be people who said unkind things, acted selfishly or were a challenge to know.  Never did I think they were evil...just ignorant of the best ways to interact with others.  Did I live a sheltered life?  Apparently so, but I think most people living in the USA have been sheltered.  We take our freedoms for granted and do not identify with living in a country where these freedoms do not exist.  Evil has taken up residence in the USA and few understand that it is has to be fought and driven out.  All our freedoms are under attack by agents of worldwide jihad.  Political Islam is a reality and it is evil.  Our own government is running down this path of evil by courting proponents of political Islam in the name of religious freedom.  The hate speech legislation is nothing more than a way to protect Islam from people speaking the truth about a system lacking the true nature of God's love and his plan for us.  We are ripe for this kind of assault because as a nation, we have lost our moral compass.

Evil exists in the designers of Agenda 21 aka Sustainable Development aka Smart Growth.  Almost without exception, those who saw this program 30 years ago gave it no credence because it was so ridiculous.  No one in this country would buy in to THAT.  It is now a reality and is gaining ground in a hurry because it has silently, and little by little, become an insidious program of government partnering with private comglomerates to takeover private property.  All of this done for greed and power couched in phrases that people find hard to dispute.

Evil does not look like evil at first.  It is beautiful, it speaks with a silver tongue and it offers you hope that everything will be wonderful.  It is seductive and mesmerizing allowing you to see a life of infinite possibilities.  At first, it only requires a small dose of dishonesty.  At first, it expects you to ignore small indiscretions.  "At first" becomes a long road of moral decay.  There are many in power in this country who have chosen the road of moral decay and relish it.  My question for them is "and then what?"
